Mt. Ashland’s Mountain Report is brought to you by Lithia Motors, through their Lithia4Kids program.

The Spring 25/26 Season Pass Sale Starts Tomorrow!

Mt. Ashland Ski Area is open today 9:00 am - 4:00 pm!

9:21am UPDATE: Ariel is open!

8:48am UPDATE: Ariel is on a storm recovery hold.

It’s a Powder Day!

We received 9 inches on the 24 hour stake with 120 inches at the base!

The temperature is currently 21 degrees with light winds.

The forecast for today is calling for snow showers with a slight chance for some thunderstorms in the afternoon. There is new snow accumulation of 4 – 8 inches possible. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 28 degrees. There will be a strong breeze blowing out of the south southwest 17 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

All lifts are currently scheduled to run. Upper Mountain delays are likely due to Storm Recovery.

There are 19 groomed runs open from 9am – 4pm. Most of the groomed runs are from yesterday with the expectation of the Learning Area and Aisle 1, Aisle 2 and Rodgers Way which all have fresh grooming. That means that the ski surface will be mostly powder on groomed and fresh powder off-piste.

All 3 Terrain Parks and the Bowl will likely be closed today.

The Access Road is unplowed with approximately 4 inches on the road and in the parking lot, but ODOT is on their way to plow it.

Check the Mountain Report for the latest updates to our Uphill Access.

Mark your calendars because our Spring 25/26 Season Pass Sale starts tomorrow!

As a reminder, starting this week, our operating schedule is changing and we will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and will open again on Friday, April 4th! Today is the last Monday we are open. You can review the Operating Schedule on our website for more information.

Though Spring Break is over, because we were closed yesterday and last Thursday, we are doing a make up for our Take 5 Challenge. Check out our website’s events page for more information!

On Friday, April 5th, get your telemark skis and your costumes ready because the Annual Screamin’ Tele Lizard Classic is back! The classic is open to all types of skiing and riding and registration is live online on our events page. All proceeds benefit Oregon Adaptive Sports!

We’ll see you on the Mountain!

Status Update

Most of the groomed runs are from yesterday with the expectation of the Learning Area and Aisle 1, Aisle 2 and Rodgers Way which all have fresh grooming. That means that the ski surface will be mostly powder on groomed and fresh powder off-piste.

Beware: Snow immersion suffocation (SIS) and tree well risks are HIGH today. Ski or ride with a partner and keep them in sight at all times. Stick to open, groomed trails to minimize SIS hazards. Educate yourself on deep snow safety here: https://www.deepsnowsafety.org/
